Meet Baby Brentley

 

Recently I have had the great pleasure of photographing my sister -in-law’s cousin’s newest addition, Brentley. I know, confusing right? But, word of mouth seems to be the way this business works. I couldn’t be more grateful, for, a salesman I am not. To think that someone values my work enough to pass my name along is really the highest form of a compliment. Thank you, Alex, for connecting me with such a lovely family.

When I arrived at Jordan and Crystal’s condo in Burnaby, I immediately felt at home in their beautiful space. They may be first time parents, but they already seem like old pros. Having lived it, I always find myself asking about labour and delivery. I have to say, I was a bit taken aback by Crystal’s response. She simply said “It was great.” We all know that there had to have been moments that were far from great, but those did not seem to be the moments she chose to commit to memory. I suspect this same attitude will follow Crystal and Jordan through all of their parenting adventures. What a lucky little guy Brentely is. These new parents seemed so relaxed, confident, and genuinely content. Being around them for the morning was nothing short of inspiring.

Brentley is a beautiful baby and was a dream to work with. It was a fantastic session. I am a firm believer that babies feed off of our energy, and this was a perfect example. Brentley might be one of the most content babies I have ever met.
