Newborn requests appear to be coming in fast and furious these days. Could it be? Have I found my niche? Truth be told, I am loving the quiet, calming, slower pace of these particular sessions. Perhaps this is because it is so very different from what my day to day looks like. That being said, I don’t think I will ever stop loving the quick moving hilarity of a toddler session, the connection of a family session, or the story telling that encompasses event photography. I’m not sure I will ever fully plant my feet.
I know from experience what a blur the first few weeks after bringing home a new baby can be. This day, I could not have been more thrilled to welcome this little family into the studio. They made the trek from South Surrey and arrived right on schedule. As any parent knows, this is no small feat when venturing out with a newborn. These two came armed with blankets, outfit changes, a happy baby, and their sense of humor fully intact. I’d say they’ve got the hang of this parenting thing.
Flynn is such a handsome little baby. Cuddly, sweet, and a head of hair to die for. This little guy was awake and fully alert for almost his entire session. It wasn’t until the very end that he decided to give in. Flynn put up a good fight, but even he was no match for the warm blankets, white noise and his full little belly.
