It is said that it is a challenge to herd cats, but I would venture a guess that even said cat herder has never tried to wrestle four pretty princesses in a photo shoot. Two moms, a grandma and an arsenal of props arrived at Campbell Valley this past sunny Sunday. I met them with my own bag of tricks and the circus began.
The dynamics of a family group are well established long before a photographer even enters the picture. This grandma seemed to know that best laid plans often go awry. She had dreams of a perfectly poised pintrest picnic – she brought the tent and supplies – her vision was vivid… but, alas, it was not to be. Thankfully, this grandmother also brought her sense of humour and an open mind.
I may have left sweaty and disheveled, but I am so pleased with the results.
