Welcome to the World, Baby Blair

Every mother comes to a newborn session armed with a valiant story of labour and delivery. Having a baby is such an enormous amount of work regardless of its process. Blair certainly made a dramatic entrance, and 11 days later her parents are still feeling the effects.

I truly believe all parents bring their “A” game. These two are no exception. The morning of their session they awoke with a game plan and immediately set it into motion. In their fog of sleep deprivation they still managed to arrive on time, photo ready and equipped with all baby essentials. I’d say their off to a good start.

Blair was a dream for her cameo. So it was with extreme confidence that I suggested that Sarah and Brian take five in my office while I went to work. Blair and I breezed through her photo debut. When it seemed we had covered all of our bases we came to find her support staff snoozing comfortably.

Moving forward my advice to this beautiful couple would be: grab sleep when you can get it, take all advice with a grain of salt and with the intent that it was delivered and take comfort in the fact that I’ve seen your “A” game and it’s pretty spectacular.
