The Bennest Family

Ten years and a what feels like a lifetime, has passed since I last saw Jennifer. She is part of the chapter of my life that was slinging latte’s by day and carousing by night. Pre-husband, pre-baby, and a lot less complicated. Fast forward to this past weekend when finally our paths crossed again. As it turns out, our paths have run parallel for years; our shared history and our adventures in motherhood make for much common ground to chat about.

I had a great time with this handsome family. Jennifer, her husband Aaron, their beautiful baby Matti, the family dog Jasper, and (thankfully) the indispensable Nana. While I don’t like to boast, my clients are so good-natured and fun that my family sessions almost always run smoothly. I have been told they are painless, and this one did not veer from the trend. As Nana dug into her bag of tricks and produced snacks and distraction for both baby and dog, it afforded me an opportunity to focus my lens on every angle of this little family’s charm.
