A year ago this little family made their introduction to the pages of my blog. They could possibly be the cutest family you have ever met. Over the past year I have had an opportunity to get to know Kim and Don quite well. Our family connection and our passion for parenthood supplies us with days of conversation.
Despite rough beginnings and sleepless nights, Kim and Don seem to have weathered the storm that is a year of firsts just beautifully. However, the same can not be said for Eli’s first birthday party. On August 29th, as party preparations were underway at the Kristensen house, the lower mainland was hit with a freak storm and massive power outages. Little did Kim know that as she was lighting the candle on Eli’s first birthday cake, she would also be lighting the room. This girl knows how to throw a party – even in the dark.
I should be so lucky to have a baby boy just like Eli. This kid is skookum, smiley, charming, and his baby sense of humor is right on point.
Happy Birthday, Little Man. One looks good on you.
