In the whirlwind that has been Joe and Ashley’s life for the past 6 months, Rowan decided to make an entrance and really make his presence known. It seemed he was fairly content to stay where he was – stubborn almost. On the day of his arrival, with little Isla carefully stowed away at grandma’s house, Rowan seemed to relish in what may have been his only opportunity to have his parents ALL to himself – he commanded full attention and made an exciting debut.
A frantic delivery is stressful on so many levels. It seems to add another layer of exhaustion – not only are you physically spent, you are emotionally drained. I’ve said it before, Joe and Ashley are a great team. Unflappable! Despite the urgency. Despite the drama. They welcomed this darling baby boy in true Soltysik fashion. Relaxed, effortless, and perfect.
