‘Tis the season for photo sessions and mountains of editing. It just so happens that we are also currently in the throes of a full scale studio reno. My head is nearing the point of explosion. As a result, my sneak peeks are getting more behind and, let’s face it, a little less sneaky. Begrudgingly, I have decided to make my next series of blog posts short and sweet. Should this be one of your sessions, please know that this is in no way a reflection of you or our time together. It is simply me trying to keep my $#!t together. I assure you, I will be returning to my long winded blog posts once I regain my footing.
First on the docket – Sweet Baby Isla. This little lady really needs no introduction, as this happens to be her third appearance on my blog.
I am completely in love with this little family, and not just because I am lucky enough to call them my friends. As parents, Joe and Ashley seem to move as a single unit. They are so in sync, they have an uncanny ability to pick up wherever the other left off without effort or fuss.
This particular session, much to the dismay of little Isla, involved multiple costume changes, buckets to be squished into, and various things to have placed on her head. There may have been a bit of a protest on Isla’s part, but it appears as though Joe and Ashley have become masters at distraction. Kudos to you two. I can assure you this skill will come in handy for a long time to come.
These images speak for themselves. This little girl is beautiful, funny, and chock full of personality. I cannot wait for her “1st Year” session.
