This session started off totally on the wrong foot. Typically, when I schedule to meet a client at a new location, I like to go a few days ahead of time to figure out an ETA and get a lay of the land. Packed schedules on both ends did not allow us a lot of options for dates, so my Type A self was forced to wing it. Let me tell you, I am now more committed then ever to my Type A-ness. Let me just say that there was a minor snafu with my navigation abilities. Thankfully, Tami is super easy going and had a great sense of humour. She essentially had to tell me, “Stay where you are, I will come and find you.” Not my finest moment, to say the least.
Once I regained my composure, the session went great. So great, in fact, we did it all over again two days later. Tami’s husband, Jake, works up north and was scheduled to make a surprise appearance the day after our session. When she asked if I was available, how could I say no? A beautiful little girl, a handsome two year old in a bow tie and Tami with her cute little baby bump – it was an easy sell.
I had such a great time with you, Ellingson Family. Thank you again for coming my way for the second session. I’m still not sure what happened the first time – I might be the only person in the world that can still get lost while armed with an iPhone and a GPS.
