Angela and Ryan – Maternity

Oh man, I hit the jackpot snagging this maternity session. Is Angela not one of the most beautiful pregnant women you have ever seen? Angela, Ryan, and I have many mutual friends, and I have known them for quite some time. When I received Angela’s request, I was pretty excited. I knew she was a beautiful girl, but I had no idea she would be quite this stunning pregnant. She was absolutely glowing, and I can tell she’s totally loving every moment of her pregnancy.

 It is always such a pleasure  photographing someone who also shares my passion for photography. Quite often, they know how to pose, know their best angles, and are up for anything. Such was the case this day. Angela is a fellow photog and has a keen eye, herself. As luck would have it, her request for a maternity session came in just as I was in the thick of arranging to have my brother’s beautiful 1952 Chev pick-up parked by a giant oak tree for me to use as a backdrop. Sight unseen, I knew she’d be in. Only another photographer could truly see its potential.

On the day of our session, Angela and Ryan showed up carrying a pumpkin. I knew instantly what its purpose was. Ryan has a great sense of humour, and was such a good sport the entire time.

Thank you, guys, for making the trek out to south Surrey to see me. I am so honoured to have you put your trust in me to capture such a special time in your life. You are going to be wonderful parents, and I wish you so much love and happiness.
