Having just finished up my third weekend of holiday mini sessions, I can honestly say I have THE best job in the world. Photographing and baby wrangling by day, and editing to the sounds of Christmas movies by night – if I can’t be with my own little family, this really is my happy place!
Don’t be fooled, some of these smiles did not come so easy. Only the parents of these beautiful children really know the effort that went into this whole process, but my hope is that these photos are able to convey a small bit of the joy that these little people bring to their families every day. While a few of these wee ones tried to be stubborn, we managed to break ’em down and ended up having such fun. Every one of these parents knew exactly what they needed to do to make their babies smile! With all of the Christmas cheer waiting around the corner, these photos are only a small taste of the pure joy and excitement to come.
With that, it is now officially mid-November and socially acceptable to openly start celebrating the holidays (and frequently reminding our children that Santa is watching)!
