Hemsworth Maternity

This particular morning, all was bright and sunny as I dropped my little girl at preschool. After a quick stop at home to refresh my coffee, I headed out to my favourite Bedford Landing location to meet Nikki and her beautifully blended family. I must admit, the Hemsworth clan made me feel like sort of a big deal. Apparently their photo session was an event worthy of skipping school for.

For all its beauty, this particular location tends to be a real challenge to find. Add to this my embarrassing sense of direction… lets just say we are lucky we found each other at all. Once we did, we were off to the races. Every member of this family appeared on board for the session, and their enthusiasm made my job a piece of cake.

As we arrived back at our cars, goodbyes were said and children and gear were loaded inside. I was thinking of how fortunate we were to avoid the showers that were forecast. It turned out to be a beautiful (albeit chilly) morning, but the second I put my car into drive the clouds opened. With wipers on, we drove off to go on with our respective days. Some days I can hardly believe my good luck.
