Baby Juniper

I have amassed a multitude of blankets and backdrops, baskets and bowls. I frequent Home Sense with the sole purpose of adding to my collection. Occasionally, while I’m editing in the evening, my husband will show up with tea and an ulterior motive. It has become sort of a game of hide and seek wherein I attempt to distract as he tries to be nonchalant as he scans the studio for new inventory. Not that he really minds, he is my biggest support and fan, but I have long been a collector of shiny things and he lovingly refers to my work space as “The Crow’s Nest.”

Every newborn is unique, and their photographic debut should follow suit. While it isn’t necessary, I do encourage clients to add their personal touch their photographs. Ideas and props to add to my vision. This little girl is named, in part, for a grandmother she will never meet. We photographed Baby Juniper wrapped in love from another generation. This sentimental blanket made for a perfect nest. Juniper is as unique as her name, as beautiful as the sentiment in her namesake, and as calm as her Mama. The future looks bright for the this little lady.
