Erin and Chris

Last week I had the opportunity to get together with Erin and Chris at their beautiful new home in Langley. With a 7 o’clock start time we still lots of day light left to play with. Summer is here and I am loving these long days.

I have heard it said that my most challenging client will most likely be that of the toddler variety, but I beg to differ. I dare those people to try to capture the best angle of a horse whose supper is waiting for him back in his stall. Knowing next to nothing about horses, I had no idea where to begin. As it turns out, this large and devilishly handsome beast does not respond to the quack of a duck or any noise one might use to call a dog. During this particular session, it became quite clear to me that I am well past the point of caring how silly I look while trying to nab the perfect shot. But, as luck would have it, Rylie and I do have something in common – we can both be persuaded to do many things for a good cookie.

A few laps around this beautiful property and we left Rylie to his dinner while Erin, Chris and I continued on. The rest of this session was a breeze. In addition to being incredibly comfortable with each other and having amazing chemistry, these two were game for anything I could come up with. However, should I have the opportunity to photograph these two again, I will be sure to remember my stepladder. I had forgotten that Erin was of model height. Chris you are a lucky man.

Congratulations on your new home Erin and Chris. You two are great together and I am beyond thrilled that I was able to help document the beginning of this wonderful new chapter for you.
