Lisa and Casey Maternity

My experience has taught me that, in this particular line of work, the majority of men are reluctant participants. Often they view a photography sessions as a painful experience, but that there are moments in life that are worthy of such sacrifice. As a rule, it seems the marking of a milestone is left for the women of the house to plan. In the interest of all involved, it is best if the men can humour us and come along for the ride.

I have developed a specific strategy for the inclusion of this male species. The approach must be slow. Start with the willing participant and gradually ease the skeptical addition into the frame. Get what you need and get out. Casey didn’t even see me coming.

All joking aside this was a great session. How could it not be – Lisa is stunning! I know from experience the effort and planning that goes into an anticipated photo session. Clothes are carefully chosen sometimes months in advance and this girl nailed it. Combine that with this couple’s undeniable chemistry and you have a perfect session laid out right before you. Today my job was easy.
