What a lovely way to spend a morning. As I have mentioned before, I seem to be gathering my clients through word of mouth. So, when I received a request from Meghan (Jasper’s Mom – see link at the bottom of the page), I was thrilled. This beautiful little lady is Jasper’s cousin. I consider my cousins some of my dearest friends, so knowing that these two are so close in age and geography, I just know they are in for a lifetime of memories together.

Much to my surprise, it was Meghan who answered the door when I arrived at Kim’s house for our session. Spending the morning with Kim and Meghan felt like a flashback to the early days of my own baby group. Quiet coffees accompanied by discussions of sleepless nights, tricks of the trade, and what our parenting futures might look like; that is, before all of the second children arrived and the craziness ensued. Enjoy the uninterrupted adult conversation while it lasts, ladies.

Kim and Dave seem to have gotten married and hit the ground running. They now have a beautiful new home, a new baby, and are in the midst of planning a trip to New Zealand. These two know how to get down to business.

From the sounds of it, Kim’s pregnancy was far from ideal and little Piper’s entrance into the world was exciting to say the least, but this little family seems to have regained their footing nicely. Our session was lovely, calm, and relaxed. There is nothing I love more than when a mother hands over her new baby and lets me do my thing. It was a great session and I simply cannot get over how sweet little Piper is. She has a lovely temperament and is a perfect little model. Kim, thank you for allowing me to spend the morning with you and your beautiful baby.
